While the Super Bowl ads of Kia's past may have involved dancing hamsters, laser lights, and party music, this year's holds no such fare. In fact, the theme appears to be breaking from the type cast set by said hamsters by featuring an action hero: former James Bond star Pierce Brosnan and the all-new Sorento.
However, Mr. Brosnan is breaking from type-casts as well. Where one might expect him to be making a getaway in some fancy sports car, rife with explosions, missile launchers, and snipers, instead we see him being pitched the ad where he makes a different kind of getaway. And where there aren't any explosions, there are fireworks.
