Self-Driving Kia Cars Could Be a Welcome Change in Concord

Drivers, in particular, tend to balk against change.

When automatic transmissions started to take over from the classic stick-shift, there were a lot of us that refused it. When engines started offering smaller and smaller sizes to allow for better and better fuel economy, we didn't like it.

Change is hard.

But, with intelligent new safety technology in development by Kia's sub-brand DriveWise, we at Hendrick Kia of Concord think that this change is one that everyone can get behind.

We don't know too much just yet about the full plans of Kia Motors Corp. to implement DriveWise technology into their future vehicles, but by the video above we can assume that the full lineup of new Kia models will be receiving advanced new tech capabilities.

When the product is complete, of course--Kia doesn't expect these vehicles to be road-ready until about 2030.
